Nothing else in a power strip would have failed. It should have tripped to protect human life. Second, only thing in that power strip that should have failed is a circuit breaker.
Let it dry and in almost every case, it works fine.
I bought this a couple of weeks ago, got home set it up and BOOM! It was fantastic, lights are great but wasn't required for my spec, I wanted something LOUD and boy is it LOUD, it's everything and more that I could ask for, I did buy it initially as a works sound system to replace the one we had, but this is way too good to use for that purpose, easy to use and the iPhone connects to it no problem and the same with a 5th gen iPod touch, nice place to put your phone or iPod in and the rubber mat keeps it secure, love the EQ Features too, I'm sure used through the AV option on your TV and it would sound awesome too I just haven't tried it yet, nice remote everything on it is user friendly and idiot proof you can't go wrong.First, leaving power on anything that was wet makes little sense. Last but not least i can even play radio stations from this speaker,the GTK- X1BT Speaker is not only for listening to Bluetooth music,it’s my than just that to be more precise it’s an audio system.Yes an admittedly it doesn’t have a built in CD Player but because it as RCA Ports that’s not an issue because a CD PLAYER can be connected using those ports.And on top of that the two woofers and tweeters offer great base and clarity when listening to my music collection either streaming from Bluetooth or by playing from a USB DRIVE.Even when having the speaker halfway on volume 25 i can’t hear distortion whatsoever.The GTK- X1BT Speaker as plenty power to listen to music and I’d be very surprised if other Sony customers who’ve bought the speaker have anything to complain about.Bass enough that i can feel it in my chest when playing it quite loud and that’s not me exaggerating.The Sony GTK - X1BT a great speaker with enough functionality that won’t cause potential buyers to be disappointed with it. I bought the Sony GTK - X1BT a few years ago and it’s still doing the business and still very reliable,it can be used not only playing music by Bluetooth but by using a USB Drive.There’s also RCA ports that enables connecting to other electronic device and this brilliant Bluetooth speaker also as DJ lights that beats to my music playing.There’’s also effects that also can be used when playing music as well as the lighting effects.
